Zombies Weapon Kits Bug

I've been having an issue with the weapon kits in BO3 Zombies where some weapons, once they're customized for the first time after prestiging, won't be customizable again. To clarify, in the Weapon Kits menu the gun "looks" changed, but once I hop in game it's still got all the old attachments and camo I had on it before. It used to happen with a lot of weapons for me like the KN-44 and the HVK, but during my last couple of prestiges it was just the RK5. At this point, I'm prestige master level 400-something, the game has been through months of patches, and this bug still persists. An easy fix for someone who's not prestige master is to just prestige, that way you can customize the gun and it will actually change in-game (but you won't be able to do that again until your next prestige). However, I obviously can't prestige anymore and I'm NOT willing to throw away hundreds of levels and hundreds of hours woth of work just because of this little bug. I'm not the only person who has this issue and I'm definitely not the first person on the internet to try to bring this to light. Treyarch, look into this please.

me too, just bought the game! so it s not a prestige bug
I try to connect on a server modded (weapon +) and all my weapons stats stay blocked...

Finally, I found someone with the same issue. I'm heavily debating whether or not to do a Fresh Start since I'm Master Level 62. Obviously it's 2023 and ain't no way are the devs gonna fix this bug. But yeah, to those that come across this issue, just be wary.
