SP: Demon Within bugged

So I'm playing through the campaign on Realistic difficulty.
It's okay overall, until I get to the mission "Demon Within"
At the very end, you're in a house and fight off zombies until Sarah tells you to kill her.

Sarah never does this for me.
I just keep killing zombies forever, they don't stop coming.

She says something about "A flood of memories in the brain, half-real and half-imagined"
Then she's supposed to ask how to end the nightmare and asks you to kill her, but she never does.

Incredibly annoyed with this, of course, as I'm playing on realistic and restarting the mission is tedious and time-consuming.

I already rebooted the game, tried limiting my fps, rebooted my pc and then restarted the mission, but it just keeps happening.
I'm just stuck now. Is there any way to force the mission to continue? Or is the mission just broken for me?

This reply is a bit late but I think I found a fix. I tried standing off near the ammo resupply to survive and nothing would happen. Zombies kept coming so after my 4th death there I tried standing near Hall, killed like 20 zombies and then the next part triggered.

This works. Thank you a ton for posting it - I had 670 kills and thought it was just super long because "realistic" difficulty" and I was standing in the same corner spot by the mobile armoury. Legit saved me a headache cheers man (fix still works 2023).

Take my points. I was slayin' zombs like it was a real match and couldn't figure out how to move forward. EXTRA TIP for anyone that is stuck. I had an LMG while the cut scene was going, I went upstairs and jumped the banister to change to an SMG and I just ran back and forth to the stairs and where Hall was doing melee. Killed about 8 zombs and was able to move on.
