TRANZIT remaster
ok this is just my opinion and i know in 2018 sharing you opinion is worse than anything ever but i feel like some one should remaster tranzit the whole thing, get rid of everything the community hated, the lava, the fog, the jet gun, make it the map it could have been because no one can deny that if done right tranzit could have been a great map

I liked the fog (it made for a better atmosphere), and the lava was only a problem because of the strength of the denizens. I think TranZit remastered should have the denizens removed, the PaP should only need to be opened once, the boss should spawn more often and drop max ammo, and the jet gun should be buffed significantly. I liked TranZit the first time around, but there was a lot of missed opportunity.

oh i agree the PaP should have been in the power room imo and not having to put the fan thingy there and i think they need to loosen up the fog though it was very dense i think a softer fog would make for a better atmosphere and the amount of orange on that map bugged a light blue/green style of lighting i think would work better give it that more horror esque vibe which i think treyarch was going for but they just kinda failed i feel the community can make a better version of tranzit given the right tools and map creators
Unpopular oppinion: I loved tranzit the way it was. They made it nice and hard to get the PaP, but rewarded you by putting it in a good spot. Neat little hidden things, like the shack with the bowie knife, or the Nacht building (that you sadly could not go inside) I thought were pretty neat. The only thing I really did not like about the map would probably be the jet gun, cause you build it, only for it to suck.

Tranzit was the pioneer of the complicated buildables and setups that newer maps eventually followed. There's mixed feeling about this in the zombie community, some hate it some don't, I never minded it however, I think the map was great but since it was the start of it's revolution it had a lot of flaws, which origins perfected. Even if they don't alter the map I would love to play it with bo3's mechanics and visual quality.

I don't mind the fog or the lava for the matter it gave it a denser atmosphere. The bank also made it easy. It's just traversing the map is annoying. Keep the fog just remove the denizens.

i also feel like the should remove the giant lava pits in between some of the locations they hurt you if not killed you i found this out because one time i missed the bus and started running i think it was in between diner and farm or farm and town i cant remember but i died because i was already hurt by the denizens and tried running accross that

and i agree with your unpopular opinion i do really like it i just realize it does have flaws but if they were ironed out the map could be really great and i thought you could go inside nacht because a piece to the jet gun was sometimes inside there?

Tranzit was bad because it was a tedious map. Everything from unlocking PaP in solo to the exploding zombies and waiting for the bus. If they added a way to call the bus for 500 points and added a fire immunity perk to the map, it would have been far better to play. As it stands right now it's one of the worst maps in the game. It wasn't a terrible map, but nowhere near the quality of some of the other maps. Die Rise had a similar issue, where map design would contradict itself. It had plenty of falling damage, yet PhD Flopper wasn't available. And again, if you wanted to get back up to 1 spot, more often than not, you'd have to go all around the map just to get back where you wanted. It's not fun to wait for a bus or have to run through the whole map. It's not fun to have your vision blurred and take damage when one of the million burning zombies explodes near you. It's not fun to play a tedious map, no matter how "challenging" the map itself is.

Also, Denizens need to be put into a meat grinder. Never to be seen again. The only time people go in the fog is to go from A to B and yet you get harassed constantly for trying, it's awful. So we have an illusion of being in "a big map" truth is it's just small maps connected together and you're stuck there until the bus comes by. Eff those lamps too. I'd rather Denizens were gone than using those random pos. If they must have an anti-train mob, then release the hellhounds. Could have hell hound rounds then.

Also, I think every map should have a bus stop so a player could call the bus for some points and maybe choose their drop off point too.
Though ideally, it'd be better to have a teleportation network you could switch on with the power, and spend points to use it so it's not random.

and more wall weapons, there's none in the town. None in Nacht or the Cabin. None at the pylon. For a "large map," it forces you into spots.
Be nice if the road from Diner to town wasn't one way and the church was accessible too.
Fog is also a touch too thick. Be nice if we could actually see the map we're in. The diner rough also serves no purpose besides getting knuckles.

It's a frustrating map, it had potential but they got so much wrong.
