good, it shouldnt work...this is a pc game, not console....this is why you are here at steam....take the controller back to the console
Don't pay attention to the kinds above. You can turn on the dualshock 4 support in Steam Big Picture, and thus your controller will work. Steam will emulate an xbox controller, and so you'll get the xbox prompts. I used it for a while, but then I returned to a usb cable, because I sometimes got problems with latency.
I feel sorry for you actually as you don't realise how much more fun it is on a controller. It feels like a chore to play on kb&m. The motoric movemts are totally awkaward. The mouse precision is fun of course, but the keyboard part sucks. I have been shredding keyboard players with a controller, believe it or not. I wouldn't be top but mid-high for sure, but its just so much more enjoyable on a controller. I feel sorry for you 'cos you will never know, your ego won't let ya.l
Anyway, if you don't have an input for the oroginal post and you are here to troll you can just go away. You bring zero value to anyhing.
I bet ya you play Rocket League on keyboard and mouse.
Indeed, you can also take a comfortable position on your couch or a chair instead of sitting at a table.
But why buying a PC and playing with a controller, a PC are ment for kb/m and a console for controllers.. its like HEY i just bought a pc so i can use controls and a console would get kb/m support which some already have anyway but it would be the exactly same: i bought a console just so i can use a kb/m.
as for those car/simulator games, sure a controller is better that way but its still not the same and u can actually buy a wheel/pedals and gearshift for those car games which is 10000x better than a controller.
Heck i wanna see u try euro truck simulator 2 with a controller and not a wheel, it would be a pain in the ass.
Dont get me wrong but why own a pc and using a controller with it when u can just get the game on console instead and do the same and console even have better support for most and same games..
its like the post above me said, its to take a comfortable position... well thats exactly what u do from console right away, as far as i know u cant even use a controller on the desktop menus or anything and only when ur inside the game which make it even more pointless.
AND before u say something like: HEY noob, i guess u have never tried a controller and such to me. For that i have a very large experience, i used to own 6 consoles, one sega saturn and snes(i dont even think u know what that is for kind of console as u might be to young),one ps1, one xbox, one xbox360 and one ps2 and used each of them for a total of 15 years before i switched i pc which i never regret, a kb/m has way better smoothness than a controller.
+1
K and M are as always good, but in cod controller is perfect.
i play with controller on console and with K/M on pc, but i admit that in this game Gamepad is great
