Controller Problem

Hey guys can anyone help me with this problem?
I have a wired xbox controller and it is not working in game! Big picture works fine with controller and black 2 detects it in game just fine, but Bo3 only half works , controls all messed

I have tried verify integrity of game files, change usb ports, restarting etc .

Also I have selected xbox controller in steam...

I don't know what else to try...

Ya thanks for the imput ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I am on my laptop right now and have no desk or decent setup so I am forced to use a controller so please go back to jerking it over and m&k mkay

Uncheck xbox controller in big picture and install the driver for your xbox controller everything will works fine. Assuming you are using Win7 because Idk what you have to do if Win10.

I have win10 and xbox Driver is installed in will try uncheck the controller

Nope that has has not worked

You need to disable the controller in steram big picture mode then re-enable it in game. Steam may be trying to force steam controller bindings to your xbox controller.

Nope that has has not worked

If unchecked the game will use default config but if you check the xbox controller in big picture you'll be able to remapping each button for every game in controller config.

Yes I could do that but the problem is it should auto detect! Like it does with black ops 2

Just launched ww2 Beta also works fine but I still would like to solve this issue

Nope it's not I also took a screenshot on steam for you to see it ain't there

I believe there are some files corresponding to your controller config but I'm not sure so the DEV can confirm, deleting it to force the game to create a new one can solve the problem.

There is one called "controller.vdf" and inside "players" folder there are two called bindings.cfg, you can try deleting them but make a backup before.

Still if nothing works maybe there are something wrong in your steam config with BO3, make a backup of your games and try to reinstall steam.

I will try this after work today thanks
