Capped at 60fps. How do I get 144hz?
I have a 144hz monitor, but when I go into options, I am unable to change the refresh rate. (See picture link). I have searched google far and wide and I cannot find anything helpful. Can anyone here help me with anything?

Try turning sync every frame off, if that doesn't work try checking in Nvidia control panel for some for of v sync.

Other than that Idk, try validating game files.

Check if your monitor is even running at 144hz. Sometimes you have to set it 144hz when you first install your monitor. If you already did that bo3 should automatically change your settings to 144hz instead of 60.

Have tried both of these, the monitor is set to 144hz as I play Rocket League on 144hz, just BO3 wants to limit me to 60 for some reason.

It's the config.ini file found in ..Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops III\players

Open it and then press CTRL+F with the file open and type "maxfps". It'll bring you right to the correct line.

had this issue with i got a new 165hz monitor. couldn't figure out why when i switch between apps it would turn black and then turn back on. i remember this look similar to when i played on console looked and saw my monitor went from 165hz to 60hz when i had the monitor settings open and just turned on/off freesync or g-sync and it fixed it till i started switching apps again idk it does this. Its like the game want to stay at 60hz and forced switches my monitor from 165hz to 60hz. still cant fix the lagging in-menus.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
