No Surround sound, just Stereo - Gamepad logon
So I bought this game to have some fun coop or deathmatch fun on the coutch. I have two major issues, let me start with the sound first.

I have a 5.1 Sound setup, plus your run of the mill Realtek Motherboard Sound Chip which supports even 7.1. Speakers are properly configured as 5.1 in Windows, the tests work like a charm, and I can bring any other game to use surround instead of stereo in their respective audio menu. But I can't activate surround this with this piece of crap game (actually it's not so bad, but I hate such silly menus which are way more intuitive in almost any other game. Take for instance the bullcrap of how difficult it is to play with two players with gamepads :steamfacepalm:vvs. the common intuitive solution other games usually have of just activating your gamepad at any point and choosing your side), there is no option for stereo or surround, and the different mixes do nothing.
HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET THIS GAME TO ACTUALLY USE SURROUND SOUND???
(please don't suggest upmixing the stereo signal like you would have an MP3, that's not the way surround is meant for games).

On the other hand, I have two Xbox one Controllers, and usually play with one, often while the other charges on the PC. But this usually makes this controller the first, and then I can't logon with my regular pad cause it is then registered as number 2, and the game says "guest accounts cannot logon". So I have to get my fudgin ass everytime up from the damn couch, run to the desk, click with the mouse in the options menu to set players 2 input to pad number one or none (which is a friggin JOY btw. because the big Tv is sideways to the keyboard and I can't see ♥♥♥♥ on it while opereating mouse and keyboard.).

I thought this would be a one time necessity, but no, the game doesn't even save those settings, so I have to do it again and again after each restart (keep in mind that during longer gaming sessions I usually have Steam on Big Picture on the TV and sit on the couch with a gamepad in my hand, I don't want to be bothered using the mouse). A logical way to save those settings or remove that friggin guest account restriction (what friggin account by the way, treyarch?) would be a great help to me.

Many thanks in advance for any help with this one! :steamhappy: It's not that I don't like the game, but because I like it somewhat I get bothered enough to actually write a text this long on the forums to ask for help.

PS is there any way to have a preview of your text so you can check for format errors?

I have just retested the game, and the game suddenly has surround, at least all my boxes are activated, and since I don't have any stereo upmix enabled (as confirmed with testing an MP3) I do have to apologize and mark the first issue as solved. I must either have made a silly mistake before, even though I was sure, or the game is inconsistent, which would still make it an error. Also one might want change from speakers to headphones from time to time ingame, and as it is, I imagine one would have to go back to windows to change the settings.

The second issue is still there, I have to run to the couch, squint sideways on the TV and reassign the input for player 2 in the options every time I want to play on the TV (or use the first pad for that, but I want to use my configured Elite-Controller for myself instead of the regular pad).
