The size of this game has gotten WAY out of hand
130gb?? R u ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kidding me?? 100gb was bad enough but then u added the pointless rip off that is zombies Chronicles and like every other bloated 'aaa' game u force us to have to download the content whether we want it or not - only locked behind a BS paywall. U have to give us an option to remove whatever bloat we haven't paid for. I really wanted to reinstall and play this but my hdd space is at a premium and that 130gb is like 4-5 BETTER 'AAA' games.

This is complete BS and has to stop. Every big game with dlc does this and it's irritating to no end. If I don't want the content then why should I be forced to use up my hdd space to store it all? With other games it's not as big of a deal because most of them aren't storing more than maybe 10 extra gb's at most, but this ♥♥♥♥ is just egregious and really needs to stop.

I appreciate the extra support this game has gotten but u really need to just give us an option to only download the content when we actually want it and PAY for it - the fact I even have to say it proves how ridiculous and downright retarded this is.

Zombie Chronicles should be standalone. BO3 was already way too oversized.

Lol, I'm sure it was like 130gb before chronicles came out lol.

At the very least that's what it was showing for me.

You know you can tick off Zombies Chronicles in the Steam DLC menu and remove it, right? Or just get a 2TB drive and stop complaining.

Also, every AAA game nowadays is at least 40-50GB in size, so deal with it. Textures got bigger in size now.

There is a huge difference between 50gb and 130 plus gb and I don't even have chronicles.

"At least". If you don't have Chronicles then the files aren't even on your game folder. What you do have is the MP DLC trial pack though. If you don't own any DLC packs then just tick that off so it gets rid of the MP DLC maps.

Also, if you have mod tools installed, then don't bother with it unless you actually make maps.

I have the season pass, so I have all dlc except zombie chronicles. With the first 4 dlc and campaign steam says the file size is 120gb total install. I can remove campaign and cut the size down to about 90gb, but it shouldnt be that large to being with.

The trial pack as like only 16gb lol, I didnt download it because I already owned all 4 dlc at the time lol.

I only have MP + DLC installed and my game takes up about 79 GB, not 90.

You wanna take a screenshot of that? My BO3 folder has all DLCs, and it's only 122GB.

I play at 4k, so I could probably have different texture files installed or something like that.

Unchecked the MP DLC Trial Pack since i'm a bit low on space as well. So thanks for the tip.
Then i noticed that i have 3 different Multiplayer Packs installed:

~ BOIII - Multiplayer Starter Pack
~ BOIII - Multiplayer Starter Pack Upgrade
~ BOIII - Multiplayer

from which Multiplayer is the most recently installed pack so i'm guessing that both the MP Starter Pack & MP Starter Pack Upgrade are totally unnecessary and can be uninstalled...

So maybe one of you guys have any idea if those two packs can be safely uninstalled or not? Thx!
