stuck in spectator mode

hey im stuck in spectator mode just started and no matter what i do i cant get out of it or fix it i tryed verifying the files nothing so i deleted the game and reinstall it and still nothing and now i'm a little annoyed could anyone help thanks all

That sounds like a very strange issue. So you're saying you joined a game in multiplayer and you were stuck as a spectator? Normally you would get out of there by picking a class so I don't really see how you could skip that... Got a screenshot perhaps?

that's exactly what i am saying no matter what i can not get out i have even picked every class one by one and nothing

Yes that is exactly what happened to me once this week. I could spectate anyone in the game, either team.
No options to pick a class...
Lately the servers seem more like P2P than dedicated servers...

Even though my ping in matches alone or hosting a group are generally pretty low, it still feels like I'm getting melted by players with same or higher pings and this was never the case until recently, my assist numbers are going through the roof when i rarely got assists mostly kills. They have changed something on servers, whether it's lag comp being broken, or like you said, they ditched dedi's for P2P.
