haymaker sight bug (zombies)

for some reason, my permanently unlocked, maxed out, haymaker always switches the sight to ELO even though i want it to be BOA3. is this a known bug? any thoughts?

Yea but its been around awhile. A friend has a scope he cant get rid of on his weevil.
Its only permanent if your prestiged. If you did then your likely stuck with it. A possible fix is to prestige the weapon, that has fixed it but only works if you havent prestiged since you got the issue.

Im not aware of any other fixes. You may need to google the issue more in depth.

You could try verifying the game, resetting the graphics or even unplug your controller if you use one. It can cause issues for some.

this has happend to me a couple of times when running through prestiges, i would gear out my guns and then when i hoped in a game it would switch back to old attachments, the only way i really found out on how to fix it was just clear all attachments on it and put them back on, or just prestige again and go through your workshop thoroughly

can you give me a bit more detail as to resetting graphics?
what do you mean go through the workshop thoroughly?

i unlocked the haymaker with prestige like 3 prestige ago...just recently finished it (got the BOA3)

...if the point of prestiging is to keep the things you want and i cant have them that is really beyond frustrating

also let me clarify my first comment...in the kit section, it SHOWS i have boa3 selected always, in game it gives me ELO sights always

by going through workshop thorughly i mean you should be checking your weapon kits and making sure that they have the attachments you want, and sometimes right after a fresh prestige all guns will get attachments taken off but if you have a perma unlocked gun then there tends to be some slight issues with them keeping the attachments or they just get taken off, and im not sure by what he means by resetting graphics, i think those are just random ways of "trying to help" because i know its not a graphical error its just a minor bug in the game

ok, after playing with the mystery box a few times i have confirmed this:
no matter what i do to my haymaker....changing camo, changing sights, changing attachments, clearing everything etc....it ALWAYS resets to what i had before i finished unlocking the last level...which is all attachments and an ELO sight (with the cosmic camo...not bad...but i cant change it) if its blank it goes in the box as almost full level, if i change the color it goes in as almost full level
it IS perma unlocked i am just desparately trying to figure out a way to customize it...i dont want it stuck like this forever i unlocked it at prestige 3 and right now im at prestige 5

all i can really say to help is that you'll just have to keep prestiging until all attachments are reset then that should just about fix the weapon

any devs here with a workaround? i just checked my gorgon which i unlocked with prestige 4 and i can change things with it still
can you word that differently buddy? prestige until all attachments are reset? is it random? will it surely happen?

it is a bit random but its pretty much determined to happen especially since you got 5 more prestiges

no dev can help, its been a known issue for awhile. this is not new. also pcdev and tapcpro can only submit issues which have alrdy been done. they have no say if something gets fixed or not.
