Origins Templar Zombies Drops

Hello!
I was wondering if the Zombies that spawn in when you activate a Generator could drop Max Ammos, Fire Sales, Double Points etc. Because I was playing and when I knifed a Gen Zombie it gave me a Max Ammo, at first I thought it had been a regular Zombie but then I checked in theater mode, I realized it was a Gen Zombie. Any know if they can actually drop power ups?

Yes the gen zombies can if you kill them before they take down a gen. There are however times that they don't. Don't know if that's random where they sometimes dont or just a bug. It was also seen in BO2 Origins.

Templar zombies can now drop power ups in BO3, something they didn't to do BO2. For the templar zombies that appear every few rounds to turn off your gens, the conditions for them to drop a max ammo are unsure. Based off my experience, they will only drop a max ammo if you kill them while the gen is being attack, and you do not get the max ammo if you killed them will a staff (seems to be BO2 only, sometimes I get a max ammo if I kill them with a staff in BO3, sometimes not).

I'm not talking about them taking the Generator after it has been activated, I am talking about when I turn it on for the first time in the game.

I don't think you guys understood, it was round 2 I was turning on Gen 2 for the first time in the game. Not when they take it AFTER it had been activated.

Not the very first gen 1 or when you power them on, they do not drop any power ups. At least not that i have ever seen.
Every now n then a zombie gets mixed with those guys n that zombie can drop a power up looking like a templar did. Thats all i have ever seen.

Sometimes templar zombies spawn as regular zombies (and then they can of course drop power ups), usually when you are downstairs of the excavation site, but occasionally elsewhere. You propably confused the generator-sabotaging templar zombies with these normally spawning templar zombies when you were starting a gen.

I followed the Zombie in theater mode. It spawned from a portal, the ones that appear when you turn the gen on. It wasn't from the excavation site.

Yea those Templars that spawn when activating generators can spawn powerups in bo3. Ive gotten a carpenter and double points to drop from them
