how do i do that?

The game should automatically create a new player config when you launch it.

see thats what I thought too but it starts the game crashes on startup yet in the files there is NO players file which means no config it makes no sense

If it crashes then there is probably no time to create the file.

Has the game worked before? Have you tried adding the BO3 Steam folder as an exception to your anti virus? You can also verify integrity of game cache by right-clicking on BO3 and going to properties -> local files -> verify integrity of game files.

What about the anti-virus or any other third-party software like MSI Afterburner, Shadowplay etc.?

Well you must have something like that otherwise you be playing or you dont have the hardware to play the game.
Slippery Jul 2, 2017 @ 9:30am

Well if you could play fine then all of a sudden can't, you have a software issue or a hardware failure.

List your computer specs.
what error your getting, if any.
what software do you have installed/running?
Slippery Jul 2, 2017 @ 12:21pm
1. Intel(R) Core (TM) i5-4590 CPU @ 3.30Ghz 2. geforce gtx 1050ti

Look, if you want help then you should answer all the questions, i.e. is there an error message, what software do you have running while attempting to launch the game etc.? What anti-virus do you have, if any?
Slippery Jul 2, 2017 @ 12:26pm
1. No error message 2. What kind of software do you mean? 3. Avast
