Which room exactly? Are you talking about the ritual room where you get the skull or the one with the elevator? If it's the latter then you need to mesmerize the poster by the purple water first.

Step 1: Acquire the Skull of Nansapwe
Step 2: Mesmorize poster located in the bunker (first right, back near purple water)
Step 3: Mesmorize elevator entrance (left after entering bunker)
