Origins Lightning Staff Glitch

I found some people to play with yesterday, and we have been playing a bit yesterday and today, around 3 hours, we started trying to do the origins EE. We proceeded to get the strike, thunder fists, round 20, every upgraded staff (except lightning), all doors unlocked, all generators, etc. Everyone else had upgraded their staff by now, and I was still on the lightning staff first step. No matter what we tried, we couldn't even get past the first step, of the first step. We put in the correct code, 136, to our knowledge, but it wouldn't work, and it wouldn't dissapear and let us proceed to the second step, of the first step, no matter what. This glitch/mistake made them blame me, and have a lower view of me, was it something I did?, or was it just another origins glitch

well its 3 codes total u have to put in... 1.3.6---3.5.7---2.4.6.. But be careful when doing it as if u fail to put in 1 number wrong, u have to exit crazy place, swap for another staff and pick it up back then try the code again..
Atleast thats what i had to do to get it work again..
