Running... NOT LAUNCHING; TRIED EVERYTHING
I've had a problem launching my Black Ops 3 for the past year now and I'm really getting sick of it. My game doesn't launch at all and I've literally done everything I can to figure out whats wrong.

I verified the files, booted cleanly without running any extentions, updates windows, drivers, got that new media pack. Even 4 months ago I had to wipe my computer completely so I tried getting BO3 again and it still wouldn't launch. I dont use any antivirus software besides the included windows defender. I allowed the app through my firewall and make exceptions for the folder.

If this means anything, my games are installed on a second drive. They all run fine (GTA 5, COD WAW, GMod, H1Z1 KOTK, Bioshock Infinite, etc...). In compatability mode, I made BO3 run as admin and Im actually out of ideas.

My Specs are:
MSI x99A Gaming 7
Intel i7 6800k 3.4ghz
Geforce GTX 1060
Corsair (2x8gb) 15.9GB RAM
Corsair 850 Gold PSU

Couple things to try,

Make sure you you have updated windows, graphics driver and are using default graphics settings

Verify the integrity of your game cache, https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335

Add Black Ops 3 game folder to your Antivirus and Firewall exception list. AVAST and AVG are known to have issues. Add BO3 folder to the exception list to resolve this.

Check for the following interference https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=9828-SFLZ-9289

Perform a clean boot per instruction and only start up bare minimum programs, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135
NZXT CAM and MSI AFterburner are known software that may have conflict with BO3

Make sure to run both BO3 and Steam as an admin.

Also what are your computer specifications?
Same is happening to me. Ive tried everything, Any fixes?

Done all of the above, I uninstalled CAM and afterburner. I now get an error message saying Steam must be running to play this game

*update* I got it running by uninstalling CAM and Razer Synaps, and completely disabling Avast. Thanks for the help!

Nope, don't even use any antivirus software. Just the windows defender that's included with Windows 10

I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. The latest version of Comodo firewall crashes Bo3. Uninstalled, works straight away, but, this is getting ridiculous. Keeping COD:BO3 playable means I can't use quite a few antivirus and now even Comodo. This needs to get sorted out, its making many users PC vulnerable.

You didnt have to uninstall, just add it to exceptions or disable antivirus.

I added BO3 to comodo exceptions and it still wouldn't work. Same for a few av like Bitdefender, Spybot Search and Destroy full, Avira, Avast, AVG. Just didn't get along with BO3 and it's the only game I've had trouble with. (I was literally going through av alphabetically in my testing).

For AVG and AVAST you need to add the entire BO3 folder to the exception list.

for Comodo this link from another Player might help.

Those Comodo instructions aren't right for Comodo 10. Here's my version;

Comodo 10 instructions;

Go to "Advanced Protection", "Miscellaneous", then next to "Detect shellcode injections" click "Exclusions" (highlighted in blue type).

Then, in the new pop-up box; click "add", "file" and Blackops3.exe Click "ok" and it should now work.
