Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 Smoke Texture Issue.

When I play COD BO3 it works fine, but one texture is messed up. The smoke texture for usually any machines ingame do not work properly. Its supposed to shoot smoke out of the machine, but instead shoots out big white rectangles out of the machine. It looks so ugly and IDK what to do. If it helps I have the game running at 1920x1080, 160hz, and all textures on max. Any help is appreciated!

Perhaps the effect is corrupted or missing so you could verify the integrity of the game cache or try another driver for your graphics card. And is this on official maps or custom maps?

so far only on custom maps, but I have yet see if this occurs on the official maps. Will try those methods though.

Also may I ask, what do you mean by trying another graphics card driver? Also I have a GTX 1060 6gb.

I'm not 100% sure but if this only happens on custom maps then it could be an issue with the map itself. Perhaps you could go to the workshop page of said maps and see if other players reported this issue as well.

I think you are right this may be only a issue with the custom map itself, and this texture error has happened on other custom maps, but I'll try some methods.

It's not, it's a specific particle broken in the last months mod update, so few people play the game even fewer mod maps but I know streamers who have had this issue as well as I.

There isn't a fix for it that I've found, it's the same particle used in vulture aid as well so it will end up making that perk unusuable.
