System requirements for BO3

Below are the posted PC requirments for Black Ops 3. Not! These system reuirments will not even come close to running this game at any competitive level. These system requirments are a losing battle. The CPU listed is a bottleneck, the RAM listed is a bottleneck, the GPU listed is a bottleneck. BO3 is a graphical bloated mess. My system with an i5 3570k oc'd to 4.3 GHz bumps 100% on all 4 cores constantly, my GTX 1060 6GB runs at 100% factory oc'd to 2012 MHz constantly. Get ready to drop a small fortune to run Black Ops 3 at any competitive level.
Console is your best bet where everyone is running the same factory built system. The world of PC gaming is a swamp, a money pit. CPU's, MOBO, RAM will be competitive for about 2 yrs, but you will need to upgrade your GPU every yr to stay ontop of the game.
Windows 7 will be obsolete in a few yrs so there's another $140.00 on a pro version of Windows.Hell Windows 10 will be obsolete in a few yrs.

Yep. I run 16 GB. As you state your CPU uses 6 threads, which means you have a 6 core CPU. In all reality a quad core CPU is not enough.

I take that back! One of my older systems had an AMD Phenom IIx4 965 BE 3.4GHz and it would run this game without any sweat and stay below 40 clecius. AMD is the way to go these days since they stepped up to PCIE 3.0.

Yep. Same price as the i5 3570k. And you get a way better CPU for the money. But the i5 3570K is an overclocking beast. If I put a liquid cooler on it I could push it to 5GHz I do believe. I've got it maxed at 4.3 with a stock cooler at the moment so 5GHz isn't a big step.

lol, ok then. I disagree. BO3 is cpu intense. When a CPU is bumping a 100% on all 4 cores that's what you call intense.

I barely have 19% CPU usage after 8-10 hours of gameplay.Usually between 18 and 20%.

From 3.4 to 4.3 is a big jump in performance. If overclocking did nothing CPU's wouldn't be designed with a speed boost.

This game has had optimization issues for so many from the beginning. That's why they only post min specs and not recommended. They are afraid too. For me the game runs fantastic and even did before I upgraded to my current rig.

This build ls coming up on that 2 year mark, and it will smoke any game i put in front of it...I won't have to upgrade every two years no.
