I need help with my sensitivity.
I really need help or some advice. I can't seem to get the hang of aiming. I struggle to track targets or snap to them quickly. I can still do decent, but I feel like I should be able to do much better. I have prior knowledge and experience from playing this game on the PS4. I was pretty good on console and always had above a 1.5 K/D Ratio in each game. I know that it's a different scenario on PC because the aim assist isn't present and controllers don't work the same on PC. I've been using the same sensitivity for awhile now. I have all of my games set to the same sensitivity to where they all feel similar. My DPI is set to 1,000 and my in game sensitivity is 1.85. I'm able to 360 turn in about 8 inches. I have good equipment including a Razer Ornata Chroma and a SteelSeries Rival 100. I'm scared to change it because I know I'll have to adjust to it again. But I feel like I should be able to aim decently by now. Should I go about and change my sensitivity or should I just struggle through it and hope to get better with what I'm already doing?

Slowly turn up the sensitivity until you feel comfortable

If you have a big mousepad you can try turning your sens down. Don`t be afraid of turning it down too much, low sens is clearly superior to high sens, although this doesn't apply to bo3 too much, you can still be precise with a higher sens, because weapons are ez to control.

I would adjust the sens until you feel comfortable with ADS.
And keep in mind that a sens is always relative to the mousepad! The same sensitivites in the same game might feel completly different on different mousepads.

Well, I use the eight inch for a 360 degree turn in all of my games. But I just can't seem to get use to aiming or tracking targets. I'm very use to a controller so that's probably why I struggle so bad, but I've been on PC for awhile and just can't seem to get the hang of it. I do have a large SteelSeries QCK Mass mousepad. And I just got a new mouse. It's the Razer Mamba Tournament Edition. I have some people telling me to turn it up and some people telling me to turn it down, so I'm not sure what to do.

do custom games start with 4 sens and gradually lowering, set pollrate to 500 or 1000 if you are on medium to large screen or set it to 250 on 15".dpi should be 1000 and above for large screen
uncheck enhance pointer precise in widows mouse settings
If you want a pro tipp:
first turn up your dpi from your mouse like 400, 800, 1200, 1600 dpi
and then ingame 1-2 sensitivity

Okay, I've had mouse acceleration unchecked forever. And I have the mouse sensitivity set in the middle, I've also use the MarkC Mouse fix. I just can't find a sensitivity that I'm comfortable with at all.

it a learning curve. my kd ratio is not very good as I have started doing the challenges.
aim assist is still there with certain controller maybe they call it aim lock now as some seem as killing as sooon as they see you it as if they are using a wall hack

if you want to snipe go with 400-800 dpi
if you are a rusher / basher go with 1200-1600 but 1600 is way too much for me
i would trying out for a call of duty like 1200dpi and a lower ingame sens like 1- 2 max.

Well, I just found out that I can change the DPI settings of my mouse. I normally run it at 1,000 and have an ingame sensitivity of 1.85. Maybe I should lower it just a little bit by each day. I'm a little bit of a rusher, but I also try to check my corners and move around those slowly so I don't just walk into bullets, but it doesn't seem to do much good since I die so much anyways. Lol

for aim training is a lower mouse sensitivity recommended but i wouldnt go too low but only for sniping
train like 1-2 month with a lower sensitivity (not in black ops i would recommend CS:GO if you really want to train)
dunno some people feel unconfurtable with but its just training if you really want to be better you should start like every "newb" with a lower dpi/sens ^- ^ but trust me its worth it.

I do have CS:GO. I haven't played that game in a long time. I think I've been playing far too much Black Ops III recently and ran into a dry spell. Also, I unlocked the M16 for it and that's a burst weapon, which I haven't stopped using it since I unlocked it because I wanted to get it gold. I've come to notice that could be the reason that I am struggling. Because the moment I switched back a gun like the ICR-1 or the Man-O-War, I wasn't doing so terrible. I'm not sure if I should give Black Ops III a break and play some other games for a little bit or keep trying and stay frustrated.
