I would adjust the sens until you feel comfortable with ADS.
And keep in mind that a sens is always relative to the mousepad! The same sensitivites in the same game might feel completly different on different mousepads.
uncheck enhance pointer precise in widows mouse settings
first turn up your dpi from your mouse like 400, 800, 1200, 1600 dpi
and then ingame 1-2 sensitivity
aim assist is still there with certain controller maybe they call it aim lock now as some seem as killing as sooon as they see you it as if they are using a wall hack
if you are a rusher / basher go with 1200-1600 but 1600 is way too much for me
i would trying out for a call of duty like 1200dpi and a lower ingame sens like 1- 2 max.
Issa good
train like 1-2 month with a lower sensitivity (not in black ops i would recommend CS:GO if you really want to train)
dunno some people feel unconfurtable with but its just training if you really want to be better you should start like every "newb" with a lower dpi/sens ^- ^ but trust me its worth it.
