That game doesnt start at all.
Same thing in game "Singularity"......byebye for steam is very close now,why pay the games that wont work.

The audiere fix, thats already posted elsewhere here works too. Just copy the audiere.dll from that folder to the main directory. You may have to de- and re-install the game to make it work. At least for me it worked only this way.
For singularity: Launch issues with this games are not related to steam but to firewalls. Try launching it in offline mode with firewall disabled.

Does not the fix I still can play the part of the elevator can not fire or change weapons not to move the hand with the gun up and down and so you can not advance the level, I've proven everything and has not worked...

El Tama, yes. I fixed the startup crash with the audiere.dll fix Darklord mentioned above. Now I can play the game but it has those ugly graphic bugs.

Take the dll from the zip file and put it in your game folder.

Just extract the files into your game folder overwriting when asked.
If u have security set to high on your computer you might have problem trying to copy them .
so extract them to to your desktop and right click copy ,go to your game folder and paste them into the correct place..
