Battle Mages: Sign of Darkness

Battle Mages: Sign of Darkness

Does it support modern resolutions?
I had this game ages ago and am willing to buy it again but I need to know if it even supports modern wide screen monitors because I run 1080p and am willing to go with lower res equivilentsfor some games but last I played this everyone had box monitors.

you can set the resolution with editting config file directly. i could have run the game in 1920x1080 both of full screen and windowed mode.
in windowed mode, you don't need to care for even aspect rate and can use any odd resolution setting like 1700x950.
and the scaling is done nicely. no streched graphics nor small text problem.

the config file is "config.cfg" in "data" folder.
you can access install folder easily from right click context menu. (property > "local file" tab > "browse local files")

but beware for 2 things.
1. in full screen mode, DON'T skip any videos including splash logo/intro with ESC key, instead, click the screen to do that or the game might crash for some error.
2. in windowed mode, you cant move window position in conventional way but you can use ESC key to skip movies without crash.

hey there, any hints on getting it to work on wnidows 10 ?

with a bit of a hassle I was able to play it a bit after install, but it still seems to disagree with win 10

Where in the file is stored info about resolution?
