Stuck on Mind Barrier: Abyss
I don't see what my goal is here. Where am I supposed to direct the lasers? Should I be trying to make the shapes that are between the switches?
Also, I'm having great difficulty changing only one of the reflectors, the light beam almost always changes at least 2.

You need to direct the lasers so it matches the pattern that is shown in between the switches. You will need to determine which switch to use. Whether the lasers come from the top or from the right-hand side. This was a very difficult puzzle. I had the same issue that you had when trying to change only one of the reflectors. I found it easier if you adjust the reflector and hit the button real quick. Try to determine where it's aiming and then adjust accordingly. You will need to complete six different patterns before moving on. Try to have patience.

I had to switch over to the mouse for that puzzle. The wobbliness of the joystick made it way more difficult.

Thanks guys, I just solved it. I probably should have waited until the morning to try it instead of posting this thread at 3am... It wasn't as hard as it initially looked.

Really rough puzzle. Had to come here to figure it out and I'm still working on it. First time I've gotten stuck. Sort of understand it, sort of don't. Hope I figure this out before I get too tired, I was on a roll.

I had difficulty aiming too, but I overcame it by just accounting for it. If I was aiming for one switch and hit one next to it by accident, I would just carry on and hit the one I wanted to change, then just go back and fix the mistake while I was there.

It is a very straightforward puzzle, just the difficulty is in that aiming.

I undertand how it works now it's just that that beam is super jumpy. Managed to get 2/3 of the patterns done and it was time for bed. Well, it's day two at 5 a.m. and time to try and tackle this beast again. Played almost all day yesterday. Beautiful game.

I FINNALY beat this puzzle this morning. As Jam71770 says up top. One Counsle at a time will unlock each pattern (which counsle is random) and there are 6 patterns to do (a green round light will light up in the center counsule if done right and you should here a conformation sound)...It sounds REAL confusing until you figure out the first pattern then it's all about hitting them one at a time with the beam being sure to re-hit any that you accidently hit that are already in the proper position. All in all a GREAT puzzle. I thought I should stop for a second to write this. Hope it helps. The mark of a good game is one where your own mind gets you stuck not the dev. Hence the Mind Barrier name for the puzzle i would guess. These guys are great puzzle designers. On with the game again...lol...:steamhappy:

If you're having trouble hitting some of the blocks, here's a hint:
Try aiming the beam at other parts of the room and see if anything useful happens.
