If you can't get the game to start, try this

If you have a 4K display then it probably isn't starting for you, use this utility to temporarily change the resolution to 1080p or smaller and it should run fine, it will make a shortcut to your desktop that changes the res and starts the game for you, then sets it back when you quit.

I think I'll wait for the fix. So many people these days running at 1440p if you have a monitor larger than 24"

The dev released this game about 150 years ago, I doubt he cares. For those of us that still want to play the game instead of complaining I have come up with a solution which is the entire point of this thread. I paid a whole dollar for this game, man I got ripped off.

C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\Jugilus\LegionsOfAshworld\Legions of Ashworld.ini

Edit the file and set "Full Screen=0", allowing the game to launch in Windowed mode.

Yeah, the Window doesn't fill the screen but still playable on a 1440p monitor.

Here's another method that works for 1440p monitors assuming you have a modern Nvidia card that supports Integer Scaling.

Edit this file:
C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\Jugilus\LegionsOfAshworld\drivers.ini

And change the "-1" values to these for these options:
"Force Resolution Width=1280"
"Force Resolution Height=720"

This will allow you to play in Full Screen mode and Integer Scaling will upscale the image x2, preserving the image quality (no bilinear blurry crap).

Worked perfectly, thanks. Have had this game on my To Play list for ages... nice to know that all it took to fix was a single digit.

Note - Fix for those using 3440 x 1440 resolution.
