CO OP greyed out

trying to play with a friend but the multi player buttons are just grey and non able to be selected. i can invite them on other games so i am not sure whats happening.

I often am in invisible mode on my steam profile and I also have coop greyed out maybe it is related? Wait no I am dumb I can see you are online haha

Fixed, my friend just had to get to the third or 4th campfire and it fixed itself.
