Disconnections in multiplayer

Started playing with two friends, and we had a good time getting through to the first boss, but we've been having the issue of me disconnecting every few minutes. It's definitely on my end - if I'm not hosting I'm the one who gets DC'ed and the others are fine, but if I host then the other two will both disconnect simultaneously. I'm just not sure what to do about it, I tried making a firewall exception for the game and that didn't help. Are there any ports that need to be forward or other router/network settings I can mess with to possibly fix this?
