Shield parry and robustness
So if I can parry with any shield and there doesn't seem to be any kind of dark souls parry window thing, why would I use any shield besides the one with highest damage reduction? Unless im wrong about the parry thing
Also, what is robustness?

I believe robustness determines the amount of stamina consumed when blocking (like stability in Dark Souls). Shields also have a damage type and amount to consider. For example, you could take a pierce damage shield with the mace so you have multiple damage types covered without needing to carry more weapons, letting you keep your encumbrance down.

Oh ok, that makes sense. I thought that maybe the parrying buckler had something different regarding the parry, but apparently no. The damage type from shield parrying is neat, but It doesn't seem too useful considering that I use it to parry and not to actually deal damage
it is useful when you get the spiked shield it pairs well with a rapier or the scimitar
