Does anyone know if there's a specific thing you have to do for him to spawn as a boss? In my first 2 runs he spawned. They were multiplayer runs. But in my third run in singleplayer he didn't spawn in and I could just get his rewards and move on. I also noticed on steam achievements that more people have beat the final boss than have beat Kalim. Dunno if is a bug or not.

hi, did you happen to delete any of your previous characters when you started playing the third time?

Yes I deleted the character in the second slot.
