One time fight chance?

I can't remember his name, the wasp that starts non hostile then attacks you right before the final boss - if you die to this guy, that's it? He doesn't reappear?

He got a stupid attack off on me while I had JUST hit him and ran out of stamina, and knocked me down next to my summoned flower and they both hit me, killing me.

Came back, and he didn't reappear? Why?

He should be reappearing. Try restarting your game and resting at the campfire, hopefully that fixes it. We'll look into it though, thanks for letting us know.

Okay good to know. I just went and beat the final boss instead.
Was kinda raged that I died to my own stupid stamina management and he had maybe 1 hit left before death - thought I missed a 1-chance item or story beat (plus, his attitude made me happy to send him to the other side lol).

Try using the slow spell if you found it, it makes him....... ridiculously easy.
I chopped his arms off while using it, careful though his kicks still have miniboss level damage I think they did 15 or so damage to me and I was running 50%+ physical damage reduction.

It wasn't a matter of him being tough, it was just me running out of stamina at the worst time. He does quite a bit more damage than pretty much everything else in the game so it just caught me off guard.

I already had an arm off and his body was basically black, so he likely had 1 more hit left.

Was just a stupid death which is why me thinking it was a 1 time fight had me kinda angry.
