Hey DJ Scrublord. We're back in the office on Monday and I'm gonna mention this to the guys. Introducing it as a brand new weapon type probably wont happen but maybe it's worth us looking into re-skins of weapons, I think this could work with the Tetsubo moveset.
Historically I believe the Japanese had large claymore type weapons for taking down cavalry. Sanosuke from Rurouni Kenshin used something like this and Guts might be a good enough reason to alter history ;).
No promises but it does sound like fun.
