Iris XE Graphics issue

yes yes, i know i should really play it on something more powerful, but I just wanted to have a little look around the demo, and maybe buy the game (as it's on sale). However, on my new galaxy book 3 360 (i5 13th gen with 16gb of ram, with XE graphics), the game doesn't look right.

The graphics are hugely dark, and B&W only. When i view demo's of the game online, it looks like this for the first split second people load up the game menu, and then eventually the lights come on and the scene is lit properly. Mine never does this, its dark constantly.

Am i doing something insanely wrong? or is this some feature of the game that the iris XE simply can't handle.

This is a common issue with Intel Iris GPUs, We are currently working on a patch to fix this issue.

Fatal error with r9 390, is there a flag to disable DirectX12?

-dx11 in the Launch Parameters of the game. But This will make the game completely dark as Lumen Ray Tracing doesn't work with DirectX 11
