Doesn't start

The game no longer starts when i try to press play. I followed online tutorials and downloaded files it asked me to download and it didn't make it a difference. what do i do

Having the same issue on Steam Deck. it just says the compatibility tool fails. I haven"t really looked for a solution yet.

Actually, never mind me. Between the updates that have been coming in on this and switching compatibility to Proton 7, it works now.

I just got the game and I have the same issue with it not even starting in Windows 10. Upon the attempt to directly run the executable, it gives the missing dll file message, even though the dll file is clearly present and in place as it should be.

works with proton experimental but no leaderboards

I had the same problem on Windows 11 and changing monitor refresh rate to 60hz solved it.
