When does Early Access start?

Early Access begins December 13th 2024.

How does Early Access differ from the current Seasons?

Early Access will be open to the general public with the purchase of a digital copy of Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. Seasons has only been available to pledges. Early Access will permit all current pledge-holders AND digital copy holders to play full-time, regardless of pledge level.

Will pledge-holders have to purchase Early Access?

No, pledges will receive a digital copy of the game and continue playing through EA, with no additional purchase needed.

What happens with pledges and pledge perks for Early Access?

Pledges may see some of those entitlements roll out during Early Access! Current pledges will be discontinued with EA so many pledge perks may no longer be available after EA starts. If you have your eye on a perk, be sure to grab it while you still can.

Will pledges be able to keep their characters from Seasons?

No. There will be a wipe prior to Early Access, however, VIP and Champion pledges will receive a head start as part of their pledge perks. The details of head start will be announced in the future.

Will EA have character wipes?

There will likely be periodic wipes, as needed.

Will there be multiple servers? Special ruleset servers?

Yes, we will be providing as many servers as needed to suit the population. We do intend to have a partial server list available prior to EA. No, we don’t intend to have special ruleset servers and characters will be locked to their chosen server (no server hopping).

Will the servers have consistent up time, as they do with Seasons VIP access?

Yes. Outside of periodic downtime for updates, maintenance, and other unforeseen outages, we expect consistent up time.

How much content will be available at the start of Early Access?

The playable world listed above will include content up to level 40, 12 of the 14 planned classes, and 6 of the 9 planned races. There will be overland and dungeon content as well as crafting and salvaging.

Can I preorder Pantheon Early Access?

Yes! Pledges will continue to be available up until the start of Early Access. These contain entitlements not available after Early Access Launch. Likewise, the VR Store will contain pre-launch items for sale. Lastly, box pre-sales will receive an in-game title. Pledges purchased before Early Access will permit “Head-Start Access.” This will get you in the game prior to the official Early Access Launch.

How many zones will be around at launch? I'm sure it's not just 6, right? And do you have a soft range of dates for which to expect the 1.0 version?

Thanks!

Thanks!

The zones are huge with a lot of content in each of them.

Thronefast has a multitude of POIs from level 4-20, including a big multi-level goblin cave dungeon.
AVP has Hangore, really an entire zone of it's own, that is 28+ content.
AVP has Mad Run, another really large dungeon with multiple named and a raid mob in it.
AVP has a lot of additional POIs besides Hangore and Mad Run.
Halnir's I haven't been to yet, but from what I've seen in previews, it's a huge. (Bring a group. A good group.)
TF and AVP being open world zones have lots of group and solo content.

If VR continues to deliver content on schedule, as they have recently, there will be a lot of additional content by EA. If the new zones have even 1/2 the content of the first 3, there will be a lot of content to play through.

I've played the game for a long time through a lot of changes, and the last few months have seen the greatest amount of positive change and addition of playable content. It's been encouraging and if VR can keep it up, there's a lot of potential here.

Will there be any raiding or only dungeon content?

If this was F2P or B2P, I would get into it, but if it requires a subscription along a B2P, it will die. Or it will eventually go F2P and then it will die again.

B2P with 30 EUR price or F2P is the best way for this game to survive.

Don't believe me? Laugh at me if you want to, then watch the game die, then try laughing again.

First, it will be B2P for around 2 years of EA.
How they gonna do after that, is not decided yet.

I personaly would prefer it too, that they gonna go the B2P way with fashion shop etc.

Some zones are big by today's MMO standards but it's still criminal there's only 6 of them after 12 years of development.

I just purchase a Pledge yesterday, got a reply from VR, do I need to create a Master VR account and enter my code prior to EA release or was that just for Pre-Alpha?...also what do I need to do to ensure I will be able to download and play the game when EA drops?

Yes you have to create your game account and follow all the instructions in the letter you received (or will receive) that contains your game key. That will allow you to play EA.
VR's system for onboarding new players has not changed.

Question, I wasn't able to find it, but will this be subscription based?
