Corpse runs. Feel like all I do is spend my time running for my corpse. Good job putting in corpse runs at level 5, on a completely new map. Oh add in lots of trees, lots of ravines, and lots of confusion. Awesome.

Note: There will be ways to get help finding corpses. Right now Summoners and Necros both get an ability to summon a corpse if it gets lost. I personally use the strategy of sniffing around the area, since I never shower it's pretty easy to find based on smell.

but why release it right now? Ive lost so many newbies items and bags because I keep ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dying. Seems so dumb, why not wait until level 35+ to lose items, and not level 5

Can you imagine how many people would throw extreme tantrums if they played the game for 35 levels getting used to all kinds of bad habits in play and then all of a sudden that wall of consequence popped up?

It wouldn't be better, it would be worse. The thing about having this through most of the levels is at some point people get used to it and it drives their approach to play... risk vs reward, choice and consequence, as well as the numerous benefits and aids classes can provide in this process.

I disagree, in its current form its asinine. I spent most of my time on pantheon mashing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loc button, looking for yet another corpse to recover, instead of exploring and leveling. 5 is way too early.

Change your game style. Be more cautious when being adventurous. Try grouping with others. This game isn't here to hold your hand. It's for people who prefer an old school social mmorpg, like everquest. It's not for everyone.

HOW CAN I BE MORE CAUTIOUS WHEN IM FORCED TO GET MY CORPSE???? HOW SIR HOW!? Have you even TRIED navigating the wild lands? Brand new zone, trees everywhere mobs hidden behind trees, everything. I just want to get some asterite to farm and I spend all my time recovering my corpse do you know how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying that is?

Trying to find places to farm ore, you know the NEWBIE ore, for crude armor, of which takes 9 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bars to make one item, which is 27 ore, which you get 2-3 per mine, which is hard to find.

Hardcore would be "get to your corpse in 3 days or it rots with all your gear".

As it concerns this game, it isn't even like EQ, you only lose your bags, not your equipment so you are at least well equipped to fight your way back to where you were as opposed to being naked and having to figure out how to get back to your corpse without dying.

"Be more cautious" is the best advice these people can give you. Also, just ask for help. If you ask for help, I promise that you WILL get it. They also have classes that can make the corpse / res process easier. Can ask a cleric to rez your corpse also.
