Are the European servers physically located in the USA (probably east coast)?

If that's the case, then what is the point of playing on the European server if the ping is the same as those on the east coast USA?

Weird that there is only 1 eu server in comparison with the amount of US servers.

If release time on steam is right then its prime time EU and its end of the week/beginning weekend.

I read in another thread where someone said they changed server from east coast to European server and that they had the exact same ping. I think he mentioned 100ms or so.

I have about 110 ping on the US servers and last night I was at 30 on the EU server.

im on US east coast i get 56 on US server and 68 on EU server

there is one EU server so far. This kind of niche games in general have more public in the US I would say but I don't have any statistics to confirm that. If they need more EU servers they will open more
