Spell price increase 30+ --- Why!
Anyone else notice a massive increase in spell prices? My level 34+ spells used to be around a plat, and now they’re like 8 plat. What the heck!? So some people got it easy early on, and now the rest of us are getting screwed? How is that fair? Honestly, that’s a game-quitting scenario for me… probably for a lot of people, too. lol

Honestly, I can't tell if they're joking anymore.

Makes no sense. Several higher-level players I know got in early and are all set, while others are getting screwed by this… They’re pissed off and logging out. Clueless management and poor communication. I was defending them up to this point, but this is just ridiculous… I think I’m done with the game.

My level 32 mantle heal on shaman only costed me 1.5 plat. That's all I've had to pay in the 30's until LV40. Sounds like the developers need to reconsider the cost of spells past 30 for spell casters who have far more spells than anyone else in the game.

All My necromancer friends say it Costs roughly 30-40 plat to obtain all their lv 30-40 spells and that seems a tad too much in my opinion.

This pales in comparison to the private profile spam on GW2 steam discussion btw.
I am very glad that Pantheon exists and I log in periodically to check the progress. I treat it like an early-early access.

Did something happen lately with GW2? I've heard more about it lately than since it released. Or just the usual young-uns being rowdy?

Both. New content coming, new maps look nice on a good monitor. Presumably
more randoms mad about... Lack of subscription? idk
Steam had an expac authorization outage recently for 12 hours, when it was resolved ANet sent out 10$ of game currency to all players using steam. I think these practices are going in their favor.
To note (for others) the only thing in common with Pantheon is the Massive Multiplayer part. The game leans into ActionRPG with an emphasis on pick up and play.

It will all be wiped mutliple times over the next 2 years,m so who cares?
don't worry. The "important" players already got what they needed.
The peasants will stay poor and like it.

It does seem like the price hikes are being used to artificially extend gameplay. By raising the costs of spells and other items, the developers might be trying to increase the amount of time players spend grinding for in-game currency, giving the illusion of more content. It can definitely feel frustrating when the challenge feels less about skill and more about time investment.

This isn't an uncommon strategy in some games, but it can be a double-edged sword. While it might keep players engaged longer in the short term, it risks alienating them if they feel the progression is unfair or too grindy.

Have you considered reaching out to the developers with your feedback? Sometimes, hearing directly from the community can prompt changes or at least start a conversation about balancing the game better.

too many hyper nerds blowing through content there's already nothing to do they just make it worse on themselves by continuing to log in. while the devs have no idea what they're cooking. imagine being at the table and it smells good then you get the plate and it don't anymore

I have, and so have others. No response for me yet...I'm not sure about the others. But I don’t mind posting here as well; it only takes a minute.
How are people making that plat up, or average time frame etc? I've ignored trade and crafting altogether and probably never had more than 10-15g at anyone time.
i have 8 plat at lvl 27 but i dont solo and killing humaniods can drop plenty of silver,
