In groups I can keep everyone alive, even when they make stupid mistakes.
This is one of the few mmos I seen that did Paladin right.
Solo's very well. With proper resource management you never ever have to sit to recover health. For funzies I went to a bandit camp at lv 8 that has a buncha light blue to blue con solo bandits in it. I took 7 of them all at once and never got to low health.
How I did this? Simple really. Grab em all at once, use my AoE dot skill, yea, Paladins get a AoE dot skill that also gives additional hate. Everytime it ticks on em all I get a ton of readiness. I use my single target damage move that also heals me for about 30-35 percent of my health. I keep building up wrath with my wrath gaining strike and my wrath granting buff, if I ever need to I can use my heal that uses wrath, otherwise I use my Conal attack move that uses wrath while keeping the dot up and hitting the Healing attack move every 5 seconds. All of them go down, the warrior and cleric duo boxer nearby sits there watching nearby drowning in irrelevance.
Pantheon is at this time, extremely lacking in everything that it needs, but the one single silver lining I like? Is how complete Paladin's kit feels.
There isn't really "branching" of skill trees. You can build based on gear you choose and which abilities you put on your action bar. At some point the mastery system will be turned back on which will let you mastery abilities to gain additional benefits to them.
Generally speaking though a cleric is a cleric. There won't be some clerics who do more or less damage than others based on their abilities, it'll just be based on how you choose to play.
Can i ask you pls? What weapons you use to play paladin?sword and shield?or 2H sword?
2H sword.
