tried about 2 hour ago, bought this product to try before the weekend but ran into this problem. I searched online for fixes for my enitre play session (about an hour and a half) and all the listed fixes didn't resolve my problem(ISP blocking issues,firewall, and trying a vpn). I won't be able to attempt playing this game again until my refund goes through and its sad to give a new game a chance just for it to not do the most basic of tasks, like launching properly. I truly hope it is fixed but have no way of verifying now. I pray this problem doesn't become a prophecy of things to come for your studios sake because i truly do appreciate what you guys are trying to accomplish in the indie mmo space. I shall try again when steam decides i get my money back :P

It was a Steam-end error that has since been resolved. We are so sorry for the trouble!

Steam users, if you are getting a log in error, please refresh your login and try again. There is a Steam-related issue today that is causing this.

This is still an issue for me right now. I keep getting failure to login each time I try and play. I have tried logging in standard as well as attempting with VPN and neither allow me to connect. Occasionally I will get to the server select screen. When I choose my server it fails and then says no servers found.

I got the Login Failure last night,
I got a full refund when I requested it.. but repurchased the game an runs great. So in my opinion running GREAT.

As we understand it, it is a common and persistent issue with Steam. We apologize and encourage testers to reload their Steam and try to launch the game again.

Update: I don't know if I got lucky or its what I did but I'm in.

My previous handle for my name was .\Squeak, its a shot in the dark but after removing the .\ prefix I was able to get in. As I said, could be luck for me, or could be the account handler had issue with using symbols at the start of the name.
