Steam login failing?

Just bought the game and when I try to play, it attempts to login and fails every time. The message I get is "Failed Steam Login". Are the servers down or something?

Yep got a couple of friends that just bought it (Friday night our time) and neither of them can login - Steam Login Failed. It must be server side. Lets hope they fix it soon before they refund it :(

Can confirm, just bought and having the same issues. not ideal for a game just purchased on steam - EA or not.

I'm sure they realize it's not ideal, but the issue is actually not theirs. There is lots of information on the discord about it. I won't go into details here. Go there and look for the discussions.

I just bought it and i got same problem with steam login failing even though it shows more than 900 people in game... Is this a problem that will be fixed?

If this was a server problem, no one would be able to log in. It's either your ISP blocking the certificate server they use or something on your computer. As I mentioned above, they have a long discussion going on it. People assume it's the game.

Check the other thread about this issue, something about contacting your ISP as this is were it likely is blocked

I live in Japan.. I can ping the mentioned gl-cacxhwf7dqdvfhc8.westus3-01.azurewebsites.net just fine.. I'm pretty sure it's not my ISP randomly blocking some west coast azure server

Idk, could be a webfilter so that icmp works but maybe not tls
