Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen

the enchanter essentials...
I am playing an enchanter and I have gotten to the point where I have way more abilities than action bar slots. So, I am curious,....What are the essentials. I decided to pull both my DOT and DD off the bar and replace them with the 2 debuffs I have (at level 12). The only damage I do is the delayed damage and free mana DD.
Is this what most folk are doing? The Debuffs take a long time to cast, but the group mobs we fight take a while to kill, and my damage seems pretty pinner.
Any Enchanters out there want to weigh in?

Thanks.

That's pretty much how I play my enchanter also but I also throw out forced (opening gap) for the rogues, rangers and monks, and (expose) for those that use it at the start of a fight. We also have a power called (thwart power) that consumes opening gap and turns it into an 8% less damage output from the mobs. I am still learning as i go, I once got a nasty tell in group from someone asking if I can dps and stop being a leach, but that is not our roll in the game so I don't get where the guy was coming from, but in a slow going group I do as much dps (melee) as I can lol. We are weak as a dps roll, so it is what it is. I wish we had more action bars to put the two dps powers we have on the bar but alas we don't.
Thats how i play mine, after lvl 20 you get some dps spell so you can help with dps but only if you have a class that can help debuff resistance like: Wizard, summoner, rogue etc.. a good combo is the wizard, summoner + rogue who throw an additional -20% resistance debuff, then you can switch from your usually debuff setup to a more dps oriented style. i use my DoT(Mind Vice), Mind flux, Rend the Mind, and in addition Delayed Wound. otherwise if your to low for the mob stay with your debuff. But if what your fighting is white, blue, and yellow(one lvl above) and the mob is dying quick why not just help dps. Dps bar is (mine vice, mind flux, Stupefy, hush, mez, Forceful Will, Rend the mind, mana guzzle

Damage is definitely not your focus so don't worry about that. Very low, barely noticeable DPS in groups. You're all about crowd-control, buffs / debuffs, interrupts, and mezzes. That's what you should be thinking about. Once you get those down, your groups will love you and you'll really see results in how well the group plays with your assistance. Good enchanters are game-changers. And that doesn't even include the charms and illusions we will be getting in the future.
id say its all depend on your composition sometime i feel useless using debuff only. Have your resist debuff paired with 2 aditionnal -20% resist debuff(-40% in total). And if your tank is a dire lord he can put an aditionnal -18% resist debuff aswell. you gotta use that i hit for from 100-200 with this (crit)
