Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen

Spells to Hotbar, Overhead Text, UI, Solo play forget it
Probably the biggest turn off is the simple things...
-The text is way to basic, especially overhead text.
-You cant drag spells to Hotbar.
-UI needs work, probably full overwork. (right clicking on mobs/players, chat features,
stacking items, stacking gold, simple quality of life you would expect etc)
-If you are not playing trying to make friends and just like to jump on and grind solo to
watch numbers and wealth go up, move on.

I understand its a small studio working on this game for a decade, but at least prioritize the stand out features that pop to players instantly when launching the game. Although already it seems there is a diehard fanbase supporting and defending the game with their life.. nostalgia of a game in the past will only take these people so far.
Slow Development is not good for the long road, and we play MMOs for the long road.

I can only agree with you on the subject of the user interface. But apart from that, you only said that you don't enjoy the game but didn't explain why. So I don't know how anyone could possibly help you to have fun... if you're not prepared to explain what's bothering you or is it just the user interface?

You can easily solo, you can put spells on hotbar and move them lol,
The current UI is just a placeholder (for a "real" one) so that we can play/test the game. Joppa has publicly stated that "they do not have a UI/UX dev and are looking to hire one."

So that means you are saying the OP is what?

Not everyone is you.

Feels like the whole game is a placeholder for what was originally promised.

yeah but you cant have any spell in any slot. i guess thats what he means
I just wish we had more hotbars available so we don't have to remove spells and add spells etc. I like having access to all my spells at will. Other than that I am having a blast.

For anyone who has never played an old school game the "lack" of hot bar makes you use strategies to fight as an example do I really need summon food and drink at all times when I can just summon 2 stacks every about 5 hours of play to top off? Should I be using a skill to bind or do I need a distraction? What do I need to have to fight a Raptor, what do I need to fight a Goblin? But in my option if you look at the hot bars they make since if your not use to needing WoW UI that is 36 slots around the entire screen this game is not set up for people to be taking it to that level anyways its been out like 30 days take a deep breath and relax. The forums clearly has a nice FAQ section that tells you really everything before you buy so if you dont chose to read and look into the game before you spend the money its not the devs problem they put it out in the open before the game was able to be purchased. Yes the game is rough and has issues but that is every game on the market that is early access. Yes it has been in the works 10 years btw Covid did effect almost all game development and stuff happens that makes things harder for the teams to work on.

P.S I would rather have slow development from a small team than a hack job from a AAA studio that could have make the perfect game any day but chose to micro transaction and forget about anything they said they would have but damn they sure make sure you can add all the hot bars and UI changes you would never need.

what bothers me is 10 years of development just to have the basic face things look like they were thrown together on microsoft word and paint.. development doesn't show the time put in.

It's an MMORPG, if you really want to play PRIMARILY solo, it's just the wrong game.
I understand that trhis game might not for players who are used to modern and fast-paced semi-solo MMOs.

I play with a good friend, he's a Wizard and I'm a Cleric. A bad combo, but we play the classes we enjoy and we have a great time. Even if we only play at the weekend and are only level 15. Exploring the world together, everything is new, it's just great.

From time to time I also play a Magican and a Paladin - both 100% solo. And it's super easy to be honest. The hardest part is finding the right places to level. That's part of the fun, not being able to google everything, not having a guide for everything, but having to explore for yourself.

the game itself, the vision for the game and the group play is not a main issue whatsoever. the issue is with mmos being so dooky its the last decade or more, people have grown have very low standards and accept anything given to them just to scratch the itch. my main issue is like i said in other messages is the huge red flag of devs overlooking the simple things. its not a good sign for the future.
