like... wtf man... im not even joking here when i say this game runs worse than cyberpunk 2077 on ultra..

my travel laptop is:
3070ti
32GB Ram
i9 12th
SSD installed

i get around 250 fps when i first log in... but then around 30mins im locked to 10-15fps...

nothing i have tried has worked...

i have tried ALL mixture of graphic settings in game
updated all drivers and windows
tried admin mode, high priority on task manager, making sure windows uses my GPU, power on high performance EVERYTHING.. even lossless scaling and YET.. it still died to 10-15fps unless i stop playing for 10 mins and then log back in...

what else can i really try to stop this BS from happening

Mr.Rabbit, long shot here but my laptop (decent but nothing fancy) was running the game flawlessly then began dipping in frames and crashing periodically. I realized earlier today that my STL library had nearly completely filled my tiny SSD, deleted a few items and cleared up 20GB of space and the game is back to normal. Might not be the situation you are in but anythings worth checking right?

Nvidia CP - Manage 3D settings - Program settings - ADD in pantheon.exe - select high performance NVIDIA processor

in case anyone else needs the info. windows doesnt this Pantheon as a "Game" so it has problems assigning. strange but this works now and im having nice 90-140fps at 3840x2160 (could get more going down to 1440)

i guess it was a ME problem for not doing something the devs couldn't implement

guess its time to continue playing as you do nothing but comment and cry over SC that you cant seem to let go off..

TBF I've never ever had to set my GPU to performance in any game, neither have anyone I know. It's not a global known fact as you claim, you're baiting there. However, maybe because my GPU I've never had to do that with it, but I only have a 3080, which is obvs less than OPs 4080. So I don't get your point?

Also, as a concierge of star citizen, with being a backer since 2016, the game is broken but I will never disrespect the "project" nor defend it. But again, OP has a point. It's broken. I have some copium and hopium though as we all want it to succeed.

most people might, most people might not. we don't know the exact numbers. also, i have never had to do it.. optimised games usually just run "out of the box" no tweaking needed. i never set to performance. its a known fact that windows can sometimes mess this up and change it. i set everything to max when and where i can.

The Chris Roberts Star Citizen Kickstarter Campaign was a HUGE SUCCESS... can't you read?
