is this game THAT poorly optimised?

like... wtf man... im not even joking here when i say this game runs worse than cyberpunk 2077 on ultra..

my travel laptop is:
3070ti
32GB Ram
i9 12th
SSD installed

i get around 250 fps when i first log in... but then around 30mins im locked to 10-15fps...

nothing i have tried has worked...

i have tried ALL mixture of graphic settings in game
updated all drivers and windows
tried admin mode, high priority on task manager, making sure windows uses my GPU, power on high performance EVERYTHING.. even lossless scaling and YET.. it still died to 10-15fps unless i stop playing for 10 mins and then log back in...

what else can i really try to stop this BS from happening

Welcome to the Unity engine.

Not only is the game pretty much still an alpha so nothing has been optimized yet, Unity is notoriously difficult to properly optimize, especially terrain in particular.

Yes, the performance is terrible in many places and it's not consistent at all. I have over 100 hours in and see a ton of potential here but the game is almost unplayable in towns or areas of large groups farming. I own a computer repair business and have been working on systems since 1994 so if you think I haven't tried something or perhaps am unaware how a computer works or how software functions you are incredibly ignorant.

There may be a simple fix but so far I have only had minimal success and am now convinced this is a programming issue or server stability issue that can't be fixed from the customer side.

There are literally millions of configurations of PC's out in the world to think that one person shouldn't have problems because you don't is borderline special school thinking.

There is nothing wrong with my “craptop” as I can play SC fine on it lol.. and stalker 2, and CP2077 and Skyrim Lorim modded on ultra (with its 4k mods and ENBs)

This game looks like it was made it in 90’s and has the combat and mechanics of that era too.. yet struggles. It’s bad optimisation
