I had more fun leveling in Wilds End than in Thronefast. The reason for that is, in Thronefast, I felt like I was overwhelmed by all the quests I was bombarded with.
It's the exact opposite in Wilds End. I did whatever I felt like without having to chase quests.
The quest rewards are trivial, and not worth expending effort on them. Other than the Gathering quest, which takes seconds and is actually useful, I have ignored the quests in Thronefast.
Everything looks the same with very few landmarks
Elves and Halflings have poor tank and healing stats, so no one makes them, which makes grouping even harder
Character models look even more out of place, because everything is 10x bigger than it should be.
The goblin temple is poorly designed for low levels, with many 4 and 5 pulls.
On top of all this the area is underdeveloped in general, with few quests and many unsupported tradeskills.
Yeah I dunno. I got my robe (AC10 +2 int +10 mana +18 spell crit), which is the best I have found, from a quest.
