Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen

I don't get the Wild's End hate
I think the zone is quite nice. It's weird seeing people trying to leave it at the first opportunity.

I had more fun leveling in Wilds End than in Thronefast. The reason for that is, in Thronefast, I felt like I was overwhelmed by all the quests I was bombarded with.

It's the exact opposite in Wilds End. I did whatever I felt like without having to chase quests.

The quest rewards are trivial, and not worth expending effort on them. Other than the Gathering quest, which takes seconds and is actually useful, I have ignored the quests in Thronefast.
Spent all of my 50+ hours in Wilds End and have grown very fond of it. I've even grown fond of the lift and climbing trees for the Shammy trainers.....oddly.

I like the Wilds End but I find it hard to get the lay of the land. just been taking it slow and been finding some good areas

Here are a few reasons:
Everything looks the same with very few landmarks
Elves and Halflings have poor tank and healing stats, so no one makes them, which makes grouping even harder
Character models look even more out of place, because everything is 10x bigger than it should be.
The goblin temple is poorly designed for low levels, with many 4 and 5 pulls.
On top of all this the area is underdeveloped in general, with few quests and many unsupported tradeskills.
I rolled an elf and played in WE for a while (this was before porting was added) and it was ok. It wasn't particularly fun, but it wasn't bad either. It was kinda meh... The area itself is nice to look at though, and I think if it had more to it I might even prefer leveling there. But after spending maybe ten hours or so there, I felt myself getting bored. So I made the run to TF, and I've been playing there. I'll probably go back and check it out some more at some point, but in general I found it mostly just uninteresting.

I don't see anyone doing low level grouping and it seems really hard to find enough people to make a group. It seems like you have to have a completely full group with dedicated tank and dedicated healer to even take on one of the chevron mobs. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful. Greater Faydark/Crushbone with Kelethin and Felwithe ♥♥♥♥ all over the paltry offering in this game.

I started in Throne, know it a little better and due to no mini maping, and using the map on shalazam that isnt up to date I prefer to not play there. I like the zone its pretty, just not for me. I do feel like it would be easier to have the level of the mob over its head and not have to hit a C after I target something to see its level range. I get making things more of a challenge but over complicating things with extra key presses that could be simplified seems rediculous.

I don't know, I got a lot of money from those. (Felt like a lot at the time, at least.)

Yeah, like how you can't drive the frame of a car off the lot, those stupid frames are blown out of the water by fully complete cars. Idiots.

Don't elves have really high wisdom?

In a team game people want to be where the teams are.

Yeah I dunno. I got my robe (AC10 +2 int +10 mana +18 spell crit), which is the best I have found, from a quest.
