"We wanted to take a moment to clarify a point regarding Steam access and current pledges. It has been the plan to allow current pledges to gain access to the game via Steam. We are still working on this possibility, but it does appear to be complicated. With that in mind, current pledges will likely need to continue to access Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen via our own launcher through Early Access.
We will update on this topic as we learn more. Thank you! ❤️"
Nothing is stopping anyone from just linking any given game you want to your steam account though. In fact, I do that with a few of my emulated games because Steam has better controller support. It is inconvenient for people who want all the Steam bells and whistles, but it's not the end of the world imho.
I think in a way it's a mistake to call this Early Access. People are going to expect one thing and it's really another. Then will they leave bad reviews? I'm hoping it's at least a Mixed reviews. We will see how it goes.
