I don't know, but I'll guess based off achievement names and stats.

The achievement for the pendant is called "Completionist", and the % of people with it is tied with the % of people who found every gem. Finding all the gems sounds like a good place to start, and there can't be much more to it, since everyone or near-everyone with all gems has it.
