Fullscreen issue

Hi, my pc is:
-amd fx8350
-nvidia gtx 660ti
-8gb ram

Now, everything was fine untill the lastest update, now the game wont go fullscreen (black screen) and runs only windowed, what could it be?

Have you went to the video settings and made sure fullscreen is enabled and made sure your resolution is set to match the resolution of your monitor.

I had a pop up to update my antivirus and it reverted my game back to windowed mode. I had to reset my settings.

same problem, its a know issue with notebook nvidia gpus. seems they are working on with according to the latest patch notes.

verify game cache
go to
X:\Users\Windows\Documents\My Games\DiRT Rally\hardwaresettings
delete
hardware_settings_config.xml
hardware_settings_info.xml
restart steam

Are you guys turning on full screen in the video settings? I have a 660ti and it works fine for me, only problem is every time I alt+tab it returns to windowed mode and I have to change the setting again.

Yeah, game starts fullscreen and nothing appears, once i hit alt+tab game displays fine windowed, if i try to go fullscreen again (alt+enter) or (settings/fullscreen on) it goes black again.

Tryed deleting the hardware config files, didnt help. :(

only other advice would be to either reinstall graphics driver
or
reinstall game

Note: as for the performance issues that are reported in another thread I suspect the GPU is not being detected as intended; possibly driver need updating

Same problem .. after update ... I thought it was me messing around with the FFB settings ... I am glad thats not it because that racedepartment ffb mod improves the game 100%

how did you update the drivers? my NVIDIA control panel says they are all up to date? Thanks :)
