but i have been running all defaults, exept 5% deadspot for throttle/brake in-game (its really old pedals arent perfect anymore) aswell as 0% deadspot for wheel, and it hasnt been too bad for me.
just keep in mind that they do plan on overhauling FFB substantially, also that this wheel seems to get recognized as a g27 for most games so should have plenty of support.
I have set the deadzones for throttle and breakes to 5%, linearity -1 and no steering deadzone.
Make sure to calibrate the wheel in driver and game. I don't know if it works as it's supposed to be, but i think for a wheel that old it feels well. FFB is okay imho.
Also i have soft lock turned off, but i have not tried it. But sometimes i notice a hard resistance just right before the end if the possible rotation of the wheel.
Also remember to calibrate the wheel in the driver and in game!
Good luck with it, i think it is a lot of fun, though a newer wheel would work a lot better i think, but hey... :P
Edit: I don't know which driver i use atm, i installed it a long time ago and it took very very long to get it to work in Win7, so i think i tried a lot of drivers until it worked correctly.
I had a lot of hours playing with my Logitech WingMan Formula Force GP wheel DIRT Rally but lately the game stopped recognizing the wheel. I tried reinstalling the drivers, cleaning the 'forcefeedback' and 'input' folders from game directory but nothing worked. I am running v 1.22 of the game. Anyone with the same experience? Did Codemasters dropped support for old wheels? Any way to bypass it and make it work?
Regards!
