Logitech Wingman Formula Force GP - Settings HELP
Hi guys,

Can someone please post here some photos of how you set sensitivity and deadzones, linearity, ffb in-game and in windows ? What driver you use.
Bought this wheel secially for this game, this is my first time with wheels, and I spent 3 hours yesterday trying to make best settings. It is a little better but still not perfect. Can't figure it out.,
If someone could help me out, I will appreciate it.

Thanks

I also have the Formula Force GP and would be interested in some settings. Many thanks!
same wheel here aswell, not many ppl iv met that have it. its really really old at this point so i was suprised it still worked for this, as it dosent with asetto corsa.
but i have been running all defaults, exept 5% deadspot for throttle/brake in-game (its really old pedals arent perfect anymore) aswell as 0% deadspot for wheel, and it hasnt been too bad for me.

just keep in mind that they do plan on overhauling FFB substantially, also that this wheel seems to get recognized as a g27 for most games so should have plenty of support.

So, has anyone already got some good and working settings after update and would be so nice to share them with me? I have difficulties finding a good setup...
First i didn't even try mine, as i assumed it would not work anyway. I was very suprised when i found out it worked :)
I have set the deadzones for throttle and breakes to 5%, linearity -1 and no steering deadzone.
Make sure to calibrate the wheel in driver and game. I don't know if it works as it's supposed to be, but i think for a wheel that old it feels well. FFB is okay imho.

Many thanks for the reply. I have the "newest" driver (the one for the GP, not the EX one) and it worked before the update. When i choose Extras > Controls > Choose Preset the game does not recognize the wheel by name, instead I have to choose "direct input" (i think its called like that, cause I'm writing with my ipad here) and then i calibrate it, correct? Moreover do I have to turn "Soft Lock" on or off, cause when I turn soft lock on, it's not really possible to play...

Just use the keyboard preset and change the controls. That's the way it works fo rme. The direct input device profile is not editable for me...
Also i have soft lock turned off, but i have not tried it. But sometimes i notice a hard resistance just right before the end if the possible rotation of the wheel.
Also remember to calibrate the wheel in the driver and in game!
Good luck with it, i think it is a lot of fun, though a newer wheel would work a lot better i think, but hey... :P
Edit: I don't know which driver i use atm, i installed it a long time ago and it took very very long to get it to work in Win7, so i think i tried a lot of drivers until it worked correctly.

Hey there!

I had a lot of hours playing with my Logitech WingMan Formula Force GP wheel DIRT Rally but lately the game stopped recognizing the wheel. I tried reinstalling the drivers, cleaning the 'forcefeedback' and 'input' folders from game directory but nothing worked. I am running v 1.22 of the game. Anyone with the same experience? Did Codemasters dropped support for old wheels? Any way to bypass it and make it work?

Regards!

I've got the same problem here! About a half year/ 1 year ago the steering wheel worked perfectly, but now it doesn't recognize anymore. :C
