Stuck on Gamma screen

Can't get past Gamma screen. Game does not recognize mouse. No combination of keys helps.
Very frustrating...

Same here. I'm stuck in windowed potato-quality mode and can't advance past brightness. Just download via next month's humble, too. Alienware Alrpa R1 i7 Win 8

Just found a fix, for me anyway

E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\DiRT Rally\system

Edited the file's resolution to 1920 x 1080 and the controller became responsive. Tabbing over to post my fix makes it 800 x 600 potato dirt again, though.

Setup for this game is terrible. Push arrow down and then enter to get past gamma screen. Connecting a controller to the game is painful, having to setup each stick and button. I see the mouse pointer for 2 seconds while the game is loading, then disappears never to be seen again. There should be a patch for this game…

hit down then enter, then continue through the initial set up until you get to the option menu where u can turn on mouse support.

Great a $60 game that's full of bugs.
mine just repeatedly plays "who is leading who" over and over again,
any advice how to get past that point?
