But as i can not see much i just have to wait for a crash and then the lights are out. *gg
Now with that being said, it is a tad dim but I feel it adds to the excitement ;)
Certain stages of Greece at night are really bright for "night", but the sunset is visible in a few of them so perhaps they aren't meant to be pitch dark.
However, I sometimes have massive trouble seeing at sunset (sunrise?) .
Some of the shadowed sections in greece seem to have nearly zero contrast.
I'd say driving at night on dark dirt country roads whilst trying to go crazy fast
is more terror than excitement.
especially when it appears my rig only has two headlights right there in front
where trees like to reach out and slap at them as I drive by.
It might be a bit less terrorific if I had spares up on the roof.
I keep telling my co-pilot to bring spare bulbs but he keeps forgetting.

and here some food for thought:
should you have problems: go get your monitor dialed in!
Why am I saying this? Because 15 years since the transition to flat-screens began there are still monitors/screens/TVs to be found on sale - and quite a few of them - that do not reproduce acurate colour and even sillyier: most that indeed are technically capable of showing them come pre-configured to NOT do so.
It is a hassle. That was what made snow-rally in RBR a chore for me way back when. Today on a reasonably-inexpensive - yet carefully selected - IPS monitor: no problem!
So before you go on a rant, think about your personal set-up: Did you actually take your time, setting it up?
On the one hand, challenge must be kept away from punishing. On the other hand you won't see much IRL with no lights either.
