Do you drive your car on rally stages?
Have you tried shortening the gear ratios in setup? With the default setup, driving around in Greece with the Group B Peugeot is like being on a sunday drive for me. With my own gear ratio adjustments alone (let alone other adjustments), I'm scared. xD
" The difference in air pressure has a huge impact on the power the engine can produce and how much downforce is created by those big wings. Power loss with altitude is something we already simulate (you may have noticed a difference in car performance between Wales and Greece)...”
At first I only took the old cars fo force myself to learn to drive carefully, but once I took more recent and more powerful cars, I ddefinitely noticed something is wrong.
I even feel the speedometer is lying to us, telling us we're going faster than we actually are.
If you take a powerful car and press the accelerator, it feels like you're pulling a caravan.
These cars are race cars, they should be fast, scary fast.
We should be afraid of pushing the accelerator fully, but in game you can spend several seconds with the accelerator fully depressed, the car barely hits 120kph and it feels like you're driving 90kph.
Yes, obviously have all the assists off as they'll just make you slower.
Subaru with no upgrades has 238hp so if Greece lowers it even more it might be closer to 200hp. That's why it feels like a heap of junk.
