verify game cache in steam, under locale files tab. [right-click properties on steam game] could be missing the dial file or something.
restart your game.
try a different resolution. [maybe hud was displaced off the screen?]
change graphics options. it is EA/beta. some combinations may throw off certain features by accident.
Cockpit view may have its own set parameters. I.E. no dial allowed, since u can see tachometer/dial/mirrors in some vehicles. I dont use helmet cam much. hood/dash mostly.
You dial works in all views except the driver/helmet view? Im thinking it may be intentional then. May check to confirm later.
I have seen numerous screenshots of people driving in cockpit view with the dial displayed, so there must be a way.
